Kittery Point - Mildred (Millie) Terrence, 82 of Kittery Point, ME.

Millie Terrence passed away suddenly surrounded by her family at Portsmouth Hospital, Monday, June 12, 2017.

She was born in Dover NH. the youngest of seven children of Mildred and Homer Cormier on August 31th 1934.

Millie was the wife of Donald (Terry) Terrence and beloved mother of five children. She worked for GE in Somersworth NH for many years, Linens & Things in Newington and finally at K-Mart in Newington. She was a lover of all wildlife and her beloved Siamese cats and fed all birds and animals in her backyard and pond. She loved to go shopping with her daughters and friends and enjoyed dancing with her husband. She loved all family get-togethers and gatherings with her many friends as well as her extended family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Terrence, daughters Sondra Cartier of Somersworth, Tracy Spinney and her husband Tyler of Berwick, ME, Jaye Terrence of Kittery, and her two sons Brad Terrence and his wife Donna of Exeter, NH and Dan Terrence and his wife Kim of Kittery, ME. She was extremely proud of all of her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her kindness and generosity.

Per Millie's wishes, there will be no services and her preference was to be cremated at the Pelkey Funeral Home in Kittery, ME. Her ashes will later be scattered in backyard by the pond she loved by her family at a private farewell.
