Somersworth: Miranda Lynn Medeiros, born on March 17, 2012, at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital, shortly passed from ARPKD peacefully in her mother's ever-loving arms, Alicia Medeiros. "She was our beautiful little angel." She was surrounded with great love by her surviving grandparents, Sandra Hanscom and Thomas Medeiros. ("Mema and Poppy") Also present and surviving was her uncle, Nicholas Medeiros, mother's friend Madison Scamman, and godmother to be, Lizz. In addition to family survivors, a great-great grandmother, two sets of great grandparents, several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away." We had received many pictures of Miranda that did just this, as well as nurses that went above and beyond " just a job." They truly all made our time together with her more than just that of a mere moment....that of what seemed a lifetime. We will cherish that always and thank them so much.
