Eliot- Nancy M. Barthelemy, 85 of Eliot, died on May 6, 2022 at York Hospital following a period of failing health.
Born in March 28, 1937 she was the second child of the late Althea ( Fletcher ) and Clyde Hanson, she grew up on the "Ridge" Beech Ridge in North Berwick.
Nancy married Lester C. Barthelemy Jr, in May of 1957 . She was a child of God, mother to her nine children, daughter , sister, aunt, grand, great grand and great great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children;Linda Gove, Joanne Wiggin, Marge Barthelemy, Rose Ellia, Iola Gilman, Candace Goodwin, Kimberly Beck, Sarah Barthelemy and Scott Barthelemy and her two sisters as well as her beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband , parents, two brothers Richard and George Hanson, and sisters Donna, Margaret and Phyllis.
