Obituary

Greenland, NH - Nardena M. Mace, 82, passed away January 25, 2023 after a period of failing health.

One of ten children, she was born May 27, 1940 in Kittery, Maine, the daughter of Ellsworth and Helen (Rogers) Chick Sr.  She grew up in Kittery and attended Kittery schools.   She met and Married her late husband, Clarence Mace and they made their home in Greenland, NH.

Survivors include one son, Scott B. Mace and wife Mary of Kittery, Maine, sisters Dolores Goodwin, Janice Bowden, Joyce Foley, and Tami desBouvrie (Frits) all of Kittery, Maine  and sister Valdena Navratil (Ken), Greenwood, Indiana and Gloria Merrill, Eliot Maine.    Sister-in-law Arlene Chick, Eliot, Maine & brother-in-law Vernon Whicker, Sr., So. Berwick, Maine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Clarence "Gig" Mace, brother Ellsworth Chick Jr., sisters Sylvia Francois and Charlene Whicker, brothers-in law George Francois, Eugene Goodwin, Albert Bowden Sr., Richard Foley and Fred Merrill Sr.

Nardena "Deanie" and Clarence "Gig" spent many beautiful summers at Great East Lake which they referred to as their "second home".  They made so many treasured memories there and had wonderful stories to share.

Services - A time of visitation:  J.S. Pelkey & Son Funeral Home, Kittery, ME. Monday, February 13, 2023 --1:00pm - 3:00pm

A celebration of life will follow immediately after services at Kasha's Kitchen, Rte. 1, Kittery, ME.
