KITTERY - On Sunday, July 4, 2021, Pamela Janet Essex (Tyler), of Kittery, Maine passed away peacefully at the age of 78 at home following a period of failing health.

Born in Berlin, N.H. on June 19, 1943, she was the daughter of Leon and Stella Tyler (Biladeau).

Sons, grandkids and family will lovingly remember her, George (Eddie) Essex, wife Christine, granddaughters Carly and Cassidy of Honolulu. Richard Essex, wife Coleen; grandsons Derek, Patrick and Ryan of South Berwick; Brother Gerald Tyler and Sister Margaret Record.

She found the love of her life George (Ted) Essex, married on November 23, 1963, and resided in Kittery, Maine. She loved cooking, gardening and spending time with family, friends and walking and caring for pets Georgie and Oreo.

Pamela was predeceased by parents Leon and Stella Tyler, husband George (Ted) Essex, brothers John Tyler, Leo Tyler, Donny Tyler, Richard Tyler sisters Betty Smith, Phyllis Barnes, Patricia Bordeaux.

SERVICES: At Pamela's request, no services will be held. Care of the Essex family has been entrusted to the J S Pelkey and Son Funeral Home.
