Portsmouth - Patricia Elkins daughter of the late Leonide and Jeanette Russell of Nashua passed away at her home in Portsmouth on January 19, 2017 after her courageous battle with cancer.
A graduate of Nashua High School she lived and raised her children in Hudson. In 1989 she moved to Portsmouth with her husband Paul. She worked for the Portsmouth School Department as a paraprofessional, then secretary at Little Harbour School. In 2006 she took a job at Piscataqua Savings Bank as Executive Secretary to the President.
Her love and passion were her family. Her hobbies were traveling, scuba diving, hunting for shells and seaglass. She also loved spending most summer weekends on her boat Victory at the Isles of Shoals.
She is survived by her husband Paul Elkins, son Andy and Kristy Hirko of St Augustine FL, daughter Lyndsey and Tony Bouzakine of Portsmouth, her grandchildren Lilyana, Luke, Kennedy and Levi, her brother Richard Russell and his wife Robbie of Fort Wayne IN, and her nephew Nick Russell and his wife Kristin of Charlotte NC.
Friends are invited to a time of sharing and refreshment with her family on Wednesday January 25, 2017 from 5-8 pm in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904.
