Obituary

Patrick Brian Pierce, age 65, of Kittery, Maine, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 8th, 2024. Pat was born on May 6th, 1958, in Cobleskill, New York, the son of Theodore and Shirley Pierce. He grew up in Schoharie, New York, and graduated from Schoharie Central School. He then attended Colorado Aero Tech, where he studied and received his A&P license.

Pat had a lifelong career as an A&P Mechanic and worked with many airlines for 40 years. Traveling the world and creating lifelong memories and friends on his journey.

Pat was a man who would seize the day. He lived and breathed for his Children and Grandchildren, But Leah and Teddy Pierce, his two grandchildren, were indeed his pride and joy. He loved traveling, fishing, tinkering in the garage, bonfires, and being surrounded by friends and family. He was rarely seen without a beer in hand and cigarette in mouth, pulling the infamous Patrick Pierce with a laughter that was so infectious.

Pat was full of life and truly lived. He is survived by his two children. Son, Tyler M. Pierce, and his wife, Sarah A. Pierce; Daughter, Rachel R. Pierce; Ex-Wife, Patricia D. Estrada; Grandchildren, Leah M. Pierce, and Theodore P. Pierce; Siblings, Dennis M. Pierce; Larry J. Pierce and his wife Lisa; Cheryl L. Plant, and her husband Paul; Former Sister-In Law, Linda Clevesy; Nieces and Nephews Ryan Pierce and Alexis Krebs, Landon Pierce and Mary Carver, Lindsey and Nate Johnson, Morgan Pierce, Ashley and William Capobianco, Theodore Mead and Amber Miller, Blade Mead, God-Daughter Bethany Mead, Daryn Clevesy, Deanna Jhaveri, and his great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends he considered family, Brother Charlie Smith and his wife Maria; Chris Graves and his wife Stacy; and Jason Lawson, who he considered his son. He is also survived by his newfound canine companion Little Anne the coon hound.

The best word to describe Pat would be Loyal. To know him was to love him, to have that father or brother figure who loved you deeply and uncontrollably. Who fought fiercely and protected those he loved. Family meant everything to Pat; if you were lucky enough for him to consider you family, it meant that you had someone by your side who would be there whenever he was needed. Even now, after his untimely passing, he is still there to watch over and protect those he considers family; his love and the memories we cherish will always remain in our hearts.
