Somersworth- Paul Desmarais, 57 of Somersworth NH passed on August 5th in his wife's arms at Wentworth Douglas Hospital. Born on January 31, 1959 he was the son of Maurice and Monique (Turgeon) Desmarais.

Paul's greatest joy in life was being a firefighter and he was a call firefighter for Somersworth NH for 26 years. He found his one true love with Ann and enjoyed the last 4 years with her. Paul will be missed dearly by many.

Paul is survived by his wife Ann of Somersworth; mother Monique ; 3 sisters, Suzanne and her husband John Walkowiak ; Marie Ann Mesropian and Diane Holiday. Step daughters Jessica Sledge and Genevieve Phelps and 4 step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Paul is predeceased by his father Maurice.

Services: Friends may visit with his family from 4 to 6 PM at the Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South St., Somersworth, NH 03878, today, Tuesday, August 9, 2016.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11am at St Martin Church, 120 Maple St, Somersworth, NH 03878 Online condolences may be made by visiting www.bernierfuneralhome.net .
