Portsmouth- Paula B. Sullivan, age 70, of Portsmouth, NH died on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Paula was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was born on May 2, 1947 and raised in Northfield, NH as the devoted daughter of Elizabeth A. Barton and Paul J. Barton, both deceased.

Paula graduated in 1965 from Tilton High School. Following graduation, she attended Laconia School of Nursing and Thomas Secretarial School. She was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society and United Way of Concord.

Paula will be remembered by all who knew her for her wonderful sense of humor and her love of life. She had the ability to always see the best in everyone and make their lives enriched for knowing her. She never complained even as she fought cancer herself and had to bury two husbands who died of cancer. Her courage was an inspiration.

She is survived by her son, Todd R. Mosa and his wife Michele; two granddaughters, Jordan O. Mosa and Grace E. Mosa, two brothers; Bruce D. Barton, and Jeffrey C. Barton, and a sister, Judith O'Connor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is predeceased in death by her former husbands, Richard G. Gilman (2004), and the Honarable Michael F. Sullivan (2014).

Services: A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14th, at the First Parish Church, 180 York Street, York, Maine.
