Rochester: Accursia Pina Pierce passed away Tuesday evening November 5, 2013 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She worked in the shoe factory her whole life. Pina loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and most of all, watching her birds. Her husband, Walter A. Pierce and her son, Frank Pierce, preceded her in death. Pina is survived by daughters, Maxine Cole and husband Frederick B. Cole, Sr., Jeanie Downs, Kathleen Rigazio and Mary-Ellen Jewell. Also, her sons, Rodney Pierce and Harry Pierce and his wife Grace. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. There will be a small service at a later date in New Cold Spring Cemetery, East Rochester.
