Eliot, Maine - Randall E. Leavitt, 64, of Eliot, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 21, 1950 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a son of the late Lawrence and Kibbie (Wafer) Leavitt. Randall was a graduate of Eliot High School and the Portland & Gorham Teachers College. Prior to his retirement, Randall taught at the Marshwood Middle School in Eliot. Randall was an avid gardener; enjoyed entertaining family and friends and absolutely adored his grandchildren. Survivors include Randall's wife, Renee (Tilton) Leavitt of Eliot, ME; daughters, Emily Creteau and her husband, Charles of Eliot, ME, Jillian McHenry and her husband, Sean of Long Island, NY, Mallory Leavitt of Lebanon, ME and Lauren Leavitt and her fiancé, Joseph Fessenden of Portland, ME; two grandchildren, Molly and Quinn McHenry both of Long Island, NY; sister, Lura Olson and her husband, Milton of Lebanon, ME; brother, Cone Leavitt and his wife, Judy of Eliot, ME; and a niece, Kibbe Straw of Fremont, NH.
