Obituary

Somersworth- Raymond Andrew Lapeyrouse, 70 Somersworth died on January 18, 2015 at his home. Born in Houma, LA on December 9, 1944 he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine( Lebeuf) Lapeyrouse. He attended local schools before beginning a career in the the United States Air Force. Ray served as an aviation mechanic serving in Vietnam, Thailand and after the war at many duty stations around the US. His last duty station, which brought him to the Seacoast was at PEASE Air force base where he served until his retirement. Raymond made his home in Somersworth, he enjoyed computer technology, shooting at the range a little golf and photography. He was a member of the NRA and the Military Non Commissioned Officers Assn. He is survived by his loving family; a daughter Raylynn Schoner of Metuchen, NJ and her daughters Marcella and Madeline, his sister Earline and her husband Malcolm Monroe and a brother Reynold Lapeyrouse as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends may visit with Ray's family on Tuesday from 6-8pm in the Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth NH 03878. A burial service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 2pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen,NH 03303. Care for the Lapeyrouse family has been entrusted to the Bernier Funeral Home.
