Eliot – Renee E. Leavitt, 60, of Eliot, Maine, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

She was born on December 6, 1954 a daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Evelyn (Foisy) Tilton.

Renee was a graduate of Winnacunnet High School in Hampton; received her BA from the University of New Hampshire and her master's degree in business management from New England College.

She was currently the Administrative Director of Psychiatry at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine where she had been employed for over 38 years.

Renee enjoyed traveling, gardening, going to flowers shows and loved hosting garden parties for family and friends. She was also a former member of the Community Chorus at South Berwick.

Her husband, Randall E. Leavitt, predeceased her on September 7, 2015.

Survivors include her daughters, Emily Creteau and her husband, Charles of Eliot, ME, Jillian McHenry and her husband, Sean of Long Island, NY, Mallory Leavitt of Lebanon, ME and Lauren Leavitt and her fiancé, Joseph Fessenden of Portland, ME; two grandchildren, Molly and Quinn McHenry both of Long Island, NY; a brother, Andrew "Jay" Tilton and his family of Allentown, PA.
