Brookfield - Richard E. Croft, 81, of Brookfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at home with his family by his side. He was born on April 22, 1940, to Edward and Claire (Leclerc) Croft.

He was a quiet, yet dedicated man. Richard was a diehard Godzilla fan, having watched every single movie countless times. In his youth, her enjoyed playing cards, board games, snow fights with his family, his beloved American Flyer Trains, and in his later years, his expansive coin collection. He spent the later years of his wife's life taking great care of her; Carolyn unfortunately passed away in 2016.

Richard is predeceased by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Martel) Croft, and his two parents, Edward and Claire.

He is survived by his sister Joanne Croft, brother Roger and wife Sharon Croft, daughter Laura and husband Sean Eldridge, grandchildren Michaela and husband Caleb Parelius, Joshua Eldridge and fiancé Nicole Patton, and Zachary and wife Melissa Short. Richard also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of donations, the family asks that donations be made in Richard's name to Beacon Charitable Group, PO Box 668, Alfred, ME, 04002.

Service: A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 1PM at St. Martin Church, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth, NH, 03878.
