Richard Robert Bob Riley, 78, died August 21, 2012 at the Gafney Home in Rochester. Bob was born in Quincy, Ma. October 11, 1933 the son of James and Marie (LaVallee) Riley. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob was a member of the Kittery Art Association, York Art Association and the Seacoast Area Artists. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Mass School of Art in Boston. After graduating, Bob worked for an advertising agency in Providence, R.I. then went to work for Maurice F. Blouin, Inc. in Rollinsford from which he retired. Members of his family include his wife of 45 years, Mary V. Ronnie (Perschy) Riley, his son, Michael J. Riley of Ball, La, his daughter, Lori E. Lombard of Winchester, Ma. his grandchildren also of Winchester, Alyssa, Jill and Brian. Several nieces and nephews also survive Bob. His brothers, Gerald and James, preceded him in death. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 pm at the Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at noon at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in St. Martin Church, Somersworth with Rev. Michael S. Taylor, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Michael s Cemetery, Rollinsford.
