Richard L. Webster, 84, of Kittery, Maine passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The son of John and Elisabeth Webster, he grew up in York, Maine and later moved to Kittery, Maine after marrying his high school sweetheart and starting a family in the house he built himself. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Beverly (Pierce) of 42 years, and loving father to his daughters Candace and Bonnie, grandchildren Cara and Sean, and sons-in-law Gary and Brian.

He was a carpenter by trade and had a keen eye for detail and building.  He started working with Bob Dion, then at Mackenzies, and finally with Tim Flynn and his crew, lastly to Safeway Storage where he worked well into his retirement years.  He loved to keep busy.  He was a humble and down to earth guy and made many great friends and acquaintances throughout the years.

His daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren will forever remember his selfless, tireless, and devoted love and care for his family. We love you Pop, we know Mom was waiting.

He will be sorely missed!

Per Richard's request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the future. Donations in Richards' name may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at michaeljfox.org. The family wishes to thank Beacon Hospice and especially Josh, for their kindness and comfort. Care for the Webster family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home.
