Rita G Boulanger 88 passed away peacefully on Aug 14, 2012 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital with many family members by her side after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 14, 1924 in Manchester, NH to William and Nazarine (Michaud) Goulet. Did her schooling in Manchester, Somersworth NH and South Berwick Me. Long time residence of Dover and Somersworth, NH, last 3 yrs of her life was with daughter Luci in Rochester, NH She was predeceased by her husband Ernest in March 2010, Son Gerard in July, 1969, Son Robert in July 2010, daughter Irene Gloria in Dec, 1955 and a grandson Clint in Dec. 2003 Members of her family sons Paul W and wife Carmen of Snoqualmie, Wash, Andre & wife Helen of Sanbornville, NH Daughter Luci & husband Harold (Sam) Hill of Rochester, NH Sons Roland of Seattle, Wash., George & wife Joanne of North Bend, Wash., Martin & partner Joyce of Woodenville, Wash., Albert & wife Kathy of North Bend, Wash., Bill & wife Katie of Somersworth NH, daughters Marie & husband Dan Sanfacon of Berwick, Me, Janet & husband Rick Bouchard of Charlotte, NC , Claire & husband Don Graham of Hampton, NH and Irene Lisa Boulanger of Rochester, NH. She also had 20 Wonderful grandchildren and 12 adorable great grandchildren. Many nephews, nieces and countless cousins throughout the USA and Canada Rita was a communicant of (St Martins) St Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Somersworth, NH. She lit up the lives of all those around her with her boundless energy. Always enjoyed to take rides anywhere it never mattered loved the beach and enjoyed all the flowers around her. Her eyes would light up when you entered the room; everyone was always welcomed in her home. She was a devoted wife and mother to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very proud that these were all hers. She was an amazing, wonderful woman who kept it all together. She will be forever in all our hearts and greatly missed. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 am at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in St. Martin Church, Somersworth with Rev. Michael S. Taylor, pastor as celebrant. Rita will be buried next to her beloved Ernest in St. Charles Cemetery, Dover.
