Somersworth – Rita M. LaCourse, 97, a lifelong resident of Somersworth, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Bellamy Fields Assisted Living in Dover.

She was born on June 24, 1919 in Somersworth, NH a daughter of Ernest J. and Albina (Gagnon) Couture.

Rita was a graduate of Somersworth High School class of 1936.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Roland in 1999 and her siblings, Raoul, Roland, and Richard Couture, Irene Picard, Theresa Beaudoin and Yvette Daigle.

Rita is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at St. Martin Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth.
