Rita Pauline Turmelle Landry, 89, of Maple Street in Somersworth NH died on February 5, 2024 at Watson Fields in Dover NH.

A true Somersworth native she was born on June 22, 1934 a daughter of the late Albert and Ernestine (Dusseault) Turmelle.

Rita worked locally as a stitcher in the shoe manufacturing industry. She enjoyed time spent with friends and family visiting the casino for gaming and lunch.

Rita was a lifelong communicant of St. Martin Catholic Church.

She enjoyed time spent with family. Rita is survived by her seven grand and one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, sister in law Dorothy Turmelle and sons in law Tom and Jimmy Landry. She was predeceased by Albert Turmelle Jr, Theresa and Florence Giroux and her daughter Diane Gazda as well as her husbands Leo Boisvert and Roger Landry.

Friends are invited to celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday February 15, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in St. Martin Church at 120 Maple Street Extension.
