Eliot- Roger L. Aiguier,
72 of Goodwin Road in Eliot
died on May 5, 2019 surrounded by family following a period of declining health.
Roger was born at Exeter Hospital and raised in Eliot, the son of the late Robert L. And Ethel (Fernald) Aiguier. He attended local schools, graduating from the last class at Eliot High School in 1966. Roger proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married his loving wife of nearly fifty one years Martha V. "Marti" ( Hathaway) Aiguier and together they settled in Eliot and raised their family.
A talented craftsman, Roger repaired and upholstered furniture his entire career. He enjoyed fishing, watching his birds, rides on his four wheeler and together with Marti, traveling extensively over the years in their RV. His first love was unquestionably his family, seeing his children and grandchildren grow brought him much joy.
Roger is survived by his wife of fifty years, Marti Aiguier, daughter Michelle Aiguier, son Eric and daughter in law Amy Aiguier, beloved grandchildren; Hannah Olmo, and Samuel and Cooper Aiguier, a sister Rose Roberge and a brother Jack Aiguier as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. And Erika and Kyle whom he cared for as grandchildren.
