Roger "Pit" Gagnon passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2026. Roland and Ruth Gagnon welcomed him into the world, November 18, 1953.

Pit was a graduate of Somersworth High School. He was a gentle person and talented man who liked to live on his own terms. Pit lived a life shaped by disability and health challenges. He never allowed his circumstances to dim his spirit in life. Helping his many friends and family was a constant in his life. He was a hard worker, a good son, brother and friend. Pit made many of his friends walking the streets of Somersworth NH, his lifelong residence.

Stopping often at his favorite spots: The American Legion and VFW for long afternoon chats and sharing meals. Pit appreciated his friends and family who drove him to medical appointments and anywhere he needed.

We shall all miss him dearly.

He is survived by his sisters  Madeleine  MacDougall (Bruce) Bridgewater NH, , Sharon Flanagan (David) Ogunquit, ME, Jackie Crombie, and brother Ronald Gagnon (Patty) Dade City, FL. Plus many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Roger is predeceased by his parents,   Brother and sister- in-law Jerry and Cheryl Gagnon, Brother-in-law George Crombie and niece Jane Crombie.

A graveside service will be held in the spring.
