Somersworth - On Tuesday August 22nd, 2017, Roger St. Onge joined the love of his life, Lorraine, to continue their lives together in Heaven.  He left this world quietly and peacefully, with his family by his side.

Roger was born on Sept. 8, 1928, to Ernest and Louisa St. Onge in Springvale, ME, but his family eventually settled in Somersworth, where he spent the majority of his life. He and Lorraine married in September, 1955 and spent many happy years together. They loved taking vacations together and spending time at the beach. Roger was a wonderful father and friend, willing to help anyone in need.

Rog was well known for his sense of humor, often stopping people just to tell them a joke. He was a long time employee of Bayside Distributing, where as a beer salesman, he was able to perform his "dream job" every day, utilizing his sales and social skills. Upon his retirement, he would make daily trips to Market Basket for milk, bread, etc. because he missed the social aspect of not working.

Roger will be deeply missed by his daughter Donna Olson and her husband Karl, son Steve and his wife Kathy, grandchildren Jennifer and Kristopher Olson, Kristen and Katie St.Onge,  Dylan Czubaruk, and great-grandson Blake Lippert, and "adopted daughter" Nadine Clark.  He leaves his sisters, Rita Perron and her husband Norm, Doris Dupuis and her husband Dolph,  brother -in-law  Raymond Lacasse and his wife Bertha, sister-in-law Jean Fournier and her husband Lee, and many nieces and nephews.

Roger and Lorraine loved spending time at their favorite restaurant ,  Jackie's Too in Ogunquit and enjoying the beach there as well. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, 10 am at St. Martin Church of St Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple St, Somersworth NH.
