Rolene E. Maine, 80, died Wednesday, March 19th at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH following a recent diagnosis of Liver Cancer.

She was born in Rochester, NH on July 12, 1944, daughter of Omer and Mary Rose (Shaw) Laliberte. She was a1962 graduate of Berwick High School and a lifelong resident of the Berwick/Somersworth area. She was a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of Peace Church in Berwick and then Our Lady of Angels in South Berwick.

Rolene married in 1966 and raised 3 children. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, was an at home childcare provider and eventually worked at and became the manager of the Berwick Video Stop. Throughout her earlier life she battled recurrent throat cancer and, after multiple surgeries and treatments, survived and spent many years in remission.

Rolene was predeceased by her sister Roberta Laliberte, her parents Omer and Mary Rose (Shaw) Laliberte and her grandson Matthew Buonano.

Surviving are her daughters Dawn Maine and Ruby (Maine) Jarrett and her husband Charles, and her son Michael Maine and his wife Nicky; six grandchildren, Michael Leskowsky and his wife Stephanie, Brittni Levangie and her wife Amy, Bryan Hauser and his husband Joshua, Patrick Buonano, Benjamin Buonano and Christina Gerrato; and nine great-grandchildren with a tenth on its way.
