South Berwick- Ronald Scott Kasterke, 51 of Norton Street in South Berwick died on July 2, 2015 following a courageous battle against cancer. Born on October 6, 1963 he was a son of the late Charles " Chuck" A. and Judith "Judi" A. Wyman Kasterke. He was Raised primarily in Eliot attending both R.W. Traip and Marshwood High Schools. Locally he was a well known off shore fisherman, working on several local boats before making his home many years ago in Key West, Florida where he was a fixture in the off shore fishing community. Well know as Cap'n Ron for his adventurous love of life both on land aboard a ship. He recently returned to South Berwick to make his home with his sister Tracy and her family as he battled his illness. Ron enjoyed being a part of their family, spending time with his aunt Pat. He enjoyed cribbage, time with family, his favorite companion Peanut, and music. Now at peace and with his mom again; Ron is survived by his sisters Sheila, Shelly, and Tracy and their families, Aunt Pat Thompson of York, Uncle Willie Wyman of York, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
