Kittery - Rose E (Dumont) Corliss, age 69, of Kittery, Maine, died Friday, December 9th, 2016 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born in Rochester, NH on May 31st, 1947, she was the daughter to Joseph L.F. and Jeanne (Ouellet) Dumont.

She lived in South Berwick, ME and later Portsmouth, NH until the age of 18.  Rose enjoyed working as a cosmetics manager at King's, many years in medical records at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, and later at her Happy Day Home Daycare.  She enjoyed camping with her family, music and dancing.  She was a natural comedian with a contagious smile, and enormous heart.

In addition to her beloved life partner, Henri Chenard; she leaves her sister, Lucille Heguy; her son, William Corliss and Teri Lavalle; daughter Deborah Binder and David Cameron; daughter Cindy Lloyd and John Lloyd; her step-children Normand Chenard and Genevieve Rivers; and her grand-children David Binder, Steven Corliss, Christopher Winson Jr, Nathan Corliss, Logan Lloyd, Zachary Corliss, multiple great-grand-children, nieces, nephews and the father of her children, David C. Corliss.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Jacques Dumont and sister Jeanne (Dumont) Boucher.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 at the Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, Maine.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at 11 am at St. Raphael's Church, 6 Whipple Rd, Kittery, Maine.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN,38105 or NHSPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. Care for the Corliss family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey Funeral Home.
