She was born on January 20, 1930 in Somersworth, New Hampshire, a daughter of Napoleon and Almoza (Roy) Gagne.

Rose was formerly employed for General Electric, Miller Shoe and was co-owner of Jerry's Doughnut Shop, formerly of Somersworth.

Her husband, Gerald, a son, James, and a great granddaughter, Ava Garrity, predeceased her.

Survivors include her son, Richard Flanagan and his wife, Betty of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Sue Flanagan of Sanford, ME; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 404 High Street, Somersworth on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00AM. Fr. Michael Taylor will be celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Somersworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hyder Hospice House, 285 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.
