Ruth Alice Plourde of Kittery, ME passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2025 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital hospice care following a decline in health.

Ruth was born in Caribou, Maine on November 6th, 1933. The daughter of the late William & Ruby Ayotte.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Euclide Plourde her daughter Cindy Gagnon and great grandson Tyler Smith.

She is survived by her son David Plourde and her daughter and son in law Ruby & John Perkins. Grandchildren Kristin Gagnon-Bate, Kerry Perkins Smith & John Perkins JR. Great grandchildren Declin Bate, Miley Bate & Sarah Smith. Her brother and sister in law William & Charlene Ayotte.

Ruth lived in the house that her and Euclide built in Kittery. Ruth's ultimate happiness was taking care of the people she loved and putting others happiness before her own.

A graveside service will take place at 11am, Thursday, August 28, at Brooks Memorial Park, State Road, Eliot, Maine, 03903.
