Eliot- Sadie Belle White, 106 years old of River Road in Eliot, died on August 11 at Greenwood Center in Sanford.

A true native of Eliot, Sadie was born on October 9, 1909 a daughter of Clinton and Myrtle ( McKenney ) Manson. She was raised in Eliot and attended local schools.

She met and married her loving husband Elwin " Jim " White while he was stationed in Wisconsin, they travelled while he was in the military before returning to Eliot where they would remain and raise their family.

A dedicated wife and mother Sadie enjoyed making nearly everything for her family from scratch, wonderful baked goods and tasty meals. She was forever selfless caring for her kids and making a loving home. She loved caring for her large yard, push mowing the grass for many years and riding her bike well into her 90's. She loved time spent with family especially going out with her sisters.

She is survived by her Son and daughter in law Allan R and Patsy White of Eliot, grandson Allan White Jr and great grandson Jacob A. White both of Eliot, a sister Violet Cormier of Kittery and several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Elwin " Jim " White, and a son James E.R. White.
