Rochester, NH - Sandra J. Brunelle, 73, of Rochester, NH passed away on June 16, 2026 at Portsmouth Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born on November 24, 1952, in Rochester, Sandra was the daughter of Paul and Rose (Chabot) Brunelle of Somersworth, NH. She was raised in Somersworth, and attended local schools, graduating from Somersworth High School with the class of 1970 and continuing her education at Hesser College in Portsmouth, NH and studied business courses. Sandra spent twenty-five years at General Electric in Electro-mechanical and Electronic meter production and worked in Mexico with the transition team. Sandra also worked for Tycom communications in Exeter, NH as an Electronic Assembly Technician. She worked as an Equipment Operator in Publishing Services for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Dover, NH for thirteen years.
Sandra spent her childhood at the family camp at Wells Beach Maine. In her early years, Sandra enjoyed playing tennis, golf and downhill skiing. Sandra was a sports enthusiast and loved watching all major league sports, her favorites were Celtics, Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Bruins Hockey. She could give you the statistics of any of the teams when asked. Sandra also was a huge tennis fan as she would always look forward to watching Wimbledon Tennis each year.
She is survived by her four siblings, Sharon Carignan and her husband Ray of Somersworth, NH, Steve Brunelle of Wells, Maine, Kevin Brunelle and his wife Cindi of Berwick, Maine, Lynne Bowmar and her husband Lou of Somersworth, NH, and several nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Rose Brunelle, her sister Gail Stiles of Somersworth, NH and brother Dana Brunelle of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Private services will be held for family.
