Sandra Lee
Goode
Mar 28, 1944 — Aug 28, 2022
Dover - Sandra Lee (Hooke) (Rollins) Goode, 78 of Dover, formerly a long-time resident of South Eliot, died on August 28, 2022 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, following a long period of declining health. Sandy was born in Kittery, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Hazel (Hart) Hooke. She attended local schools, graduating from R.W. Traip Academy with the class of 1962. She worked for many years at Allard's Moving and Storage and lastly at Town and Country Services. She adored time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren Kyle and Dayna who brought her great joy. She was a dedicated pet parent, making many visits to the SPCA usually bringing home a new pet each time. Weekends meant visiting many yard sales enjoying the deals she could make along the way. Despite her fear of the water, she looked forward to and enjoyed her annual trip s to Mousam Lake for vacations. She and her sister by choice Carolyn Patten could be seen together on many excursions and adventures.
Sandy is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Rollins) O'Brien (and her husband Mike O'Brien), two grandchildren - Kyle O'Brien (and his wife Jenna (Feeney) O'Brien), and Dayna O'Brien; two great-grandchildren - Annalise O'Brien and Tapley O'Brien, a brother Richard (Dick) Hooke (and his wife Maddy Hooke), a sister-in-law, Janice O'Sullivan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by both parents; husband Dwain Goode; brother-in-law Bradley O'Sullivan; nephew Kevin O'Sullivan; niece Lisa Hooke; and beloved friend Carolyn Patten Hanscom, as well as her former husband Conrad Rollins.
Special thank you goes to the caring ALF staff at Langdon Place, and to the nurses and doctors at Wentworth Douglass Hospital 3 rd Floor North, who provided exceptional care during her last days.
