Berwick - Sandra" Jean" Raitt,  75; of Berwick passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019 at home with family members and very special care givers, just thirty six days following the death of her loving husband Ronald Raitt.

Born in Boston Massachusetts on June 1, 1943 the daughter of Carl D. Brooks and Theresa M. (Hayes) Brooks.

Jean enjoyed gardening at a very young age and started her own gardening business and worked at A Dental Lab.  She had a keen eye for design and used that talent to designed the original artwork for the Kruise Knights Car Club tee shirts which her husband was a founding member. She enjoyed going to yard sales, Chinese food and spending time with good friends and family, and was especially fond of spending time at the races, car shows and camping.

She is survived by her son Thomas Ploss and his daughter Julie and her husband Derrick, and great granddaughter Ava Jean all of Westborough  Massachusetts. A sister in law Lois Books of Boxborough MA and her children Daniel, Matthew and Lisa. Stepchildren Danielle Raitt and Kevin of Somersworth, NH, Tony and Mistee Raitt of Berwick, ME and Nicholas and Nicolle Raitt of Lebanon, ME (with whom she had a very special relationship with); grandchildren; Jacob, Sara, Aiden, Morgan, Dominic and Cole and her beloved dog Chance. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother John, and her loving husband Ron. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Wentworth Home Care and Hospice along with the many caregivers which allowed her to remain in her home,special thanks to "Sweet Melissa".
