Sara Mary Richardson, 71, a Mainer both physically and in her heart, died on April 9, 2024. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she was born on September 21, 1952.

Sara's love for and desire to help others led her to a long career in nursing, where she made some of the most precious friendships of her life and made such a lasting impact on countless hearts.

Sara met and married her loving husband of forty-one years, Ralph Richardson, on a blind date and it was love at first sight. They were married in Prescott Park on December 23, 1982 and began a wonderful life filled with cherished pets and adored family. They were blessed with three children: David James, Maria Charlotte and Jocelyn Grace.

Kindness bloomed where Sara walked and she will greatly missed by all who shared this life with her.

Sara is survived by her children David Richardson and his wife Renee Pepin, Maria Richardson, and Jocelyn Richardson; her brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Debbie Richardson; beloved nieces and nephews; cherished friends; and her dear dog Vivian. Her love and light will live on in all their hearts.

Friends are invited to join her family on October 11 at 11am in Mt.Pleasant Cemetery on State Road In Eliot, for a graveside service.
