Sarah
Paul
May 2, 1940 — Oct 15, 2023
It is with great sadness in sharing that our dear mom, Sarah Paul, 83, passed away on October 15, 2023 after a long battle with dementia. She was born on May 2, 1940 in West Stewartstown, New Hampshire, and was raised in Colebrook, New Hampshire, at a home that always held a special place in her heart. She was the daughter of Maxine Elliott Fuller Otis and Clark Fuller. She graduated from Dover High School. She married her teenage sweetheart Arnie in 1962 and together they raised three daughters, Rebecca, Brenda, and Belinda.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Arnie and her sister Claire Morrell.
Sarah worked for many years as a school bus driver which enabled her to be available to raise her children, and later in life she also worked for Davis Oil. She had the most patient and caring soul and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is survived by her three daughters Rebecca Hyson and her husband Ralph of South Berwick, ME, and grandchildren Ryan and Abby, Brenda Lyman and her husband Mark of Eliot, ME, and grandchildren Taylor and Cameron, and Belinda Paul and her husband Chris Landry, of Acton, MA, and grandchildren Benjamin, Samuel, and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother in law and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Special thanks to Durgin Pines, and extra thanks to Elizabeth, for the kindness and care mom received while in their care. Special thanks also to her amazing home caregivers Kathy and Maureen. Not only did they provide excellent care for mom, but became an extension of our family.
