York- Shaun David MacCartney, 52, of York, Maine died October 6, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born February 10, 1963 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the son of Terry and Judith MacCartney. He worked as master mechanic for many years in Massachusetts. He and his beloved wife of 5 years, Jennifer, moved to York in 2011 where he worked in Stonewall Kitchen. Shaun spent many hours at the ocean with Abby, their chocolate lab who was Shaun's constant companion. Shaun's charm and wit will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Benjamin of Montague, Massachusetts and Sarah of N.Y.C; his parents; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be no services.
