Dover- Shirley Louise Mercier,  83 of County Farm Road in Dover died on June 30, 2020 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover following a period of failing health.

Shirley was born and raised in Newington New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Ralph and Florence ( Metcalf ) Garland. She lived her adult life in Somersworth where she raised her family. She was employed at General Linen and Riverside Rest Home.

She is survived by her Daughter Julie Mercier and her husband Allan, sons;  Terry Mills and Tom and his wife Donna Mills, sister Phyllis Pickering as well as four grandchildren.
