Dover-Susan Currie, 77 of Stratham died on August 4, 2022 with her loving family at her side. Born in Dover New Hampshire on April 2, 1945 she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Florence (Leary) Lewis. She attended local schools including Dover High School.

Susan met and married her loving husband, the late Richard "Dick" Currie and together they made their home in Stratham.

Susan had a huge heart always wanting to help others and make them happy, especially her family. She loved spending time on her daughters porch watching her great grandsons Grady and Barrett D'Andrea play, beyond the "great grandma" heart was a spunky, fun loving soul who loved to dance to the oldies, bring her grandchildren to Dover Bowl along with their friends and enjoy the Thursday night "Rock and Bowl." She, her sisters, and her oldest daughter enjoyed dance nights out at Pure Platinum and she never shied away from a challenge, teaching her granddaughter's how to drive a stick shift - her favorite type of car.

Susan is survived by her daughters; Tammy Currie of North Carolina, Bonnie and her husband Bill Rollins of Barrington NH, son, Jason and his wife Felicia Currie of Epping NH, granddaughters; Brittaney and her husband Michael D'Andrea of Milton, NH, Bridgette Rollins and her fiancée Steven Carlberg of Dover NH, and Hayla Currie of Newmarket NH, grandsons; Tyler Currie of Hampton NH, Adam Inman of Massachusetts, Kasey Willey of Ohio, and Brendan Nagle of North Carolina, eleven adored great grandchildren, a sister Nancy Lewis, sister in laws Joan Yoho of Portsmouth NH, Brenda Currie of Kittery ME and Anita Shook of South Carolina, many nieces and nephews as well as a strong, supportive and loving family of caregivers at Riverside Rest Home in Dover where Susan had made her home for the last five years.

She was predeceased by her parents; Herbert and Florence (Leary) Lewis, husband; Richard "Dick" Currie, brothers; Herbert and John Lewis, sisters; Hope Polycronis and Faye Dorey, in laws; Cecil and Letha Currie, sisters in laws; Donna Lewis, Annette Doll, Donna Dube, and Shirley Mattotte, and brother in law Hermon "Eddie" Shook.

Friends are invited to visit with Susan's family on Thursday August 11, 2022 from 4-6pm, followed by a funeral at 6pm in the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904.
