South Berwick, ME – Susan (Sue) L. Jacques of South Berwick passed away from a long battle with cancer on January 22, 2020 at age 67, surrounded by loved ones. Sue was born on July 8, 1952 to her parents Thelma, and Paul.

Sue graduated from Marshwood High School, and went on to work at Friendlys for 27 years, followed by Bellamy and Watson Fields until she retired. Sue was a hardworking woman, who was loved by all.  She found joy in spending time with family and friends.  She loved to sit outside watching the humming birds, and playing with her grandchildren in the yard. Also, she loved going on walks, and taking her dog Chloe on car rides.

She is survived by her husband, Alfie Jacques, of 49 years, her brothers Paul and Peter Carlberg, and her sister Carolyn Pettibone.  She is survived by her children Thomas and Timothy Jacques and his wife Kris, Melissa Mulcahy and her husband John.  She is also survived by her grandsons Sean, Ryan, Coda, and Vaughan, as well as her granddaughters Brenna, Autumn, Lucy, and Ellen.  Sue is predeceased by her mother Thelma Carlberg, father Paul Carlberg, and sister Sharon Heidenstrom.

Services will be held at the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, ME on Monday, February 3, with visiting hours from 5-7PM, followed by a service at 7PM.
