Kittery, ME - Susan Rae Jenkins, 79, of Kittery, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 24, 2021. Susan was born on March 5, 1942 in Bar Harbor, Maine, and was the daughter of William I. Murray and Sheila M. (Bryant) Murray. Susan was married to James C. Jenkins for 48 years.

Susan retired from Liberty Mutual after 25 years of service. Susan enjoyed spending time at her family's camp in Shapleigh, Maine and attending her grandchildren's cheering competitions, sporting events, and motocross races.

Susan is survived by her two brothers Scott Murray and wife Ellen of North Berwick, Maine and Jeffrey Murray and wife Alice of Rochester, NH; her children Christine Doucette and husband Philip of Kittery and James Jenkins and wife Kelley of Eliot; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband James, son Michael, and stepson Clifford.

A private service was held for Susan's family and was entrusted to J.S. Pelkey and Son Funeral Home.
