Somersworth- Theresa Marie Dumont, 90, of Somersworth, NH, died suddenly of pneumonia on Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was born in Gonic, NH on January 30, 1926 to Louis and Lucy Tessier.

Theresa was raised and schooled in Gonic with her eleven siblings. Theresa worked at Robert Shoe and General Electric in Somersworth where she retired.

Theresa, otherwise known as "Tess" was an active participant of St. Martins Church of St Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Somersworth.  Home and family were always central in Theresa's life.  Tess always had a smile and appreciated everything you did for her; she had a wit about her that drew people in. Tess had a passion for music and dancing.  Some of her most cherished memories were swinging in her Canadian Glider, sharing stories with family, taking rides along the Kancamagus, and spending summer weekends at Milton beach.  Tess also loved Bingo where, she was fortunate enough to meet lifelong friends.

Tess was predeceased by her loving husband Armand "Pete" Dumont, a son, Steven Dumont, as well as her parents, and siblings.  She is survived by her four daughters and son in laws; Donna and Ricky Tanguay, Deborah and Robert Fortier, Darlene and Jim Meader, and Shelia and Michael Wallis. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Theresa was loved by many and will hold a place in all our hearts and memories forever.  RIP Mom, Memere- We Love you!

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11am at St Martins Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth, NH, with burial to follow immediately after.
