SOMERSWORTH - Theresa M. (Dubois) Grondin, 88, died September 9, 2013 at the Gafney Home in Rochester. She was born April 14, 1925 in Somersworth the daughter of Onesime and Laura (Laliberte) Dubois. Theresa graduated from St. Martin Academy and the Commercial School. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Martin Church in Somersworth. Before retirement, Theresa was a cashier at Giants Department Store. Among Theresa's interests beyond being a loving wife, mother and grandmother included sewing, knitting and spending summers at her camp in Milton. Members of her family include her husband Martin of Rochester, whom she married February 8, 1947 in St. Martin Church, her children and their spouses, Madeleine and Paul Auger of New Durham, Dennis and Debbie Grondin of Somersworth, her 4 grandchildren, Erica, Celeste, Thomas and Karen; her 6 great grandchildren, Paul, Tyler, Conor, Austin, Aiden and Jacob. Theresa was preceded in death by her siblings, Raoul, Roland, Odilon "Tibbee" and Madeleine Dubois and Cecile Gagne. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Martin Church, Somersworth with Rev. Michael Taylor as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
