Obituary

Thomas Benoit died December 4, 2022, at the age of 67. Tom passed peacefully at home w ith his wife Robin by his side. Tom was born in Holden, Mass to Myron and Carol Benoit. Tom's mother died young and he was later raised by a wonderful stepmother Eleanor.

Tom was a simple, easy going man, who never had a bad word to say to anyone. He was well liked and respected by family, friends, and co-workers. Tom was a beloved member of the York Hospital Family for 24 years.

In Tom and Robin's 15 plus years of marriage they traveled extensively and shared all sorts of tales of their adventures. One of their fondest memories was dancing around the living room to their favorite songs. Together t hey shared a fondness for animals and had a small farm sanctuary.

Tom leaves behind his stepsons Nigel and Duran Robinson and Adam Wright; Brothers David Benoit, Jim Benoit and life partner Diane Hartford , Nancy and husband Chris Hatch, Deborah Byrn, Cathy Haney, Robert Quist and wife Mary Jane and Richard Quist.

Tom was predeceased by both parents as well as his brother Paul Benoit, and his beloved dog Finn, on Nov 21,2022

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17,2022, promptly at 12:30p at the J S Pelkey & Son Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, Me 03904, at which time people will be welcome to share memories of Tom.  Directly following the service from 1:00p-3:00p will be a time of visitation and refreshments. The Benoit family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home.
