Thomas Alfred
Brault Sr.
Apr 13, 1960 — Jan 8, 2026
Thomas Alfred Brault Sr. 65, passed away on January 8, 2026 in Dover, NH. On April 13, 1960, Tom was born to Alfred & Patricia Brault, South Berwick, Maine.
He attended Marshwood High School with Basketball as his primary sport. The football coach always tried to get him to play due to his strength, but basketball was what he enjoyed the most. He lived in Maine his entire life and loved camping, hunting and especially fishing. He was a skilled carpenter his entire life building his family home at a young age.
Those left to cherish memories of Tom Sr. are the mother of his children, Bonnie Morse Shutak; beloved daughter: Jessica Hicks; and spouse Joshua Hicks; beloved Son: Thomas A. Brault Jr.; grandchildren who he absolutely adored, Julia Hicks, Jakob Hicks and Josephine Hicks. Brother& Best friend: Timothy Brault; Sisters: Teresa Murphy; Tina Davis, and Tammy Cole; Nieces: Naomi & Michelle Brault; Christine McDermont, Renee Evans, Chelsea Davis; Nephews: Zachary Roy, Jeremiah Davis. As well as many great nephews and nieces. He loved all the nieces and nephews dearly.
The best family times were weekly gatherings at his parents next door with his nieces and nephews as he was always "Uncle Tom" that would take them into the woods to mountain bike, go four wheeling and for many years camp across Maine state parks in large family groups.
Our dad will be dearly missed by family and friends. To his grandkids he was simply Pepere.
God saw that he was getting tired,
So, He put His arms around him
and whispered, "Come with Me."
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes "the best."
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks J.S. Pelkey & Son Funeral Home for their blessed care. A celebration of life will be held in April at the Rollinsford NH legion. To assist the family in honoring Thomas please consider donating to their gofundme at https://gofund.me/2108c0289
