Obituary

Kittery Point, Maine- W. Thomas London,71 of Goose Point in Kittery Point died on December 5, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a battle against heart disease.
Born on March 1, 1944 in Staten Island, NY, he was a son of Kenneth W. and Ruth (Fullerton) London. He was raised in Bath, Maine and attended local schools. He furthered his education attending the University of Maine in Orono, playing football for the Black Bears, with the only U- Maine team to play in a Bowl game at the Tangerine Bowl in 1965.
Beginning a long and well-respected career in the financial industry, he was hired by State Street in 1967 and worked there until 1973 when he was hired by MFS. He greatly enjoyed MFS as a company and worked there as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of the MFS Family of Funds until his retirement in 2001.
Tom was very active, playing softball, racquetball and loved golf and skiing. He enjoyed his many friends, keeping in touch with friends even as far back as elementary school. He simply loved having a good time!
His first love was unquestionably his family, he is survived by his loving wife Lee Ann (Morris) London of Kittery Point, Children: Jennifer & Terrence Sullivan of Millis, Ma and their children Matthew and Kelli, Mark & Linda London of Foxboro, MA, Colleen & Christopher Cassarino of Clinton, MA and Caitlin Carey of Kittery Point, ME, Siblings: Bruce & Carol London of Bath, ME, Sandra Otte of Littleton, CO as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with his family at the Regatta Banquet and Conference Center 29 Levesque Drive Eliot, Maine 03903, on Sunday starting at 11am, with a memorial service and time of sharing and remembrance beginning at noon with the Rev.
