Kittery- Thomas R. Wenck, 49 of Gettysburg, formerly a resident of Kittery Maine died on June 23,2016 at Brigham Manor in Newburyport,MA following a period of failing health. Born in Wrightsville, NJ on September 3, 1966 he was a son of Alfred Sr. And Jane (Freeman) Wenck. He attended schools in California before settling with his family in Kittery, where he graduated from RW Traip Academy with the class of 1985. Following school he entered and proudly served in the United States Arm as a radio operator. After his discharge from the Army he settled in Gettysburg, PA. He was employed for many years at Dal- Tile in the manufacturing division. Tom was an avid Civil War enthusiast, so living in Gettysburg allowed him to digest all the area had to offer and enjoy the history right in his back yard. He is survived by his mother Jane of Kittery, brother Alfred and his wife Lucy Wenck of Sarasota Florida and a sister Linda Wenck of Kittery, two aunts and two uncles and a number of neices and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Alfred Sr, and brother Timothy. A memorial service with military honors will be celebrated on July 30, 2016 at 11 am in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904.
