Timothy "Timmy, Big Daddy" Crichton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2024.  He was born on Aug. 2, 1966 in Rochester NH. He grew up in Somersworth, NH with his parents Robert and Leona and his two older brothers Daniel and Andrew Crichton.

Timmy married his high school sweetheart Kerie Boyle at age 18 and had their 3 children together before the age of 22- Brian, Jordyn and Erica. They built a home next to his parents in Berwick where they raised their family on the compound and created a beautiful estate and also, where his children were able to build next to them.

"Big Daddy" was a ray of sunshine and joy at all hours of the day. To know him was to love him. He was an incredibly hard worker but knew how to play just as hard too. He made his rounds with work then would meet friends daily at his favorite pub to catch up on the day. He worked for almost 40 years in the trades and ran his own business as a master electrician, though he missed his calling as a stand-up comedian. He was truly one of a kind and an icon in the tri-city area.

Tim became friends with everyone he met and treated everyone like family. He loved golfing, jamming to music, fishing, spending time at his camp in Limerick with the people he loved most. He was most proud of his family and his 8 grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kerie Crichton, his three children, son, Brian Crichton and partner Julie Covel; daughters, Jordyn Koelker, Erica Gagnon as well as his son in law Josh Gagnon, his mother Leona Crichton, his oldest brother Daniel and his wife Noy Crichton. His eight grandchildren, Charlotte, Benjamin, Molly, Brody, Lena, Ada, Hayden and Taylor. He is predeceased by his father Robert Crichton and older brother Andrew Crichton.

A wake will take place Monday, August 26th , from 4-7p at the Bernier-Pelkey Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth, NH. The funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, August 28th, at 1030a, at St Ignatius of Loyola Parish Holy Trinity Church, 404 High Street, Somersworth, NH. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass at Evergreen Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Berwick, Maine. For those attending services, please refrain from wearing strong perfumes and colognes due to family members having severe allergic sensitivities.
