North Hampton- Vesta Joy Tidd, 70, of Oak Drive in North Hampton, NH died on February 3, 2015 at Portmouth Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Kittery, Me. on December 3, 1944 she was a daughter of Harlow and Elizabeth (Tebo) Spinney. She attended high school in Newmarket, NH. In 1995 she and her husband Robert Tidd settled in North Hampton, NH. She was employed in production at Hi-Liner Foods in Portsmouth, NH for many years and enjoyed her many work friends. She was an avid reader, loved concerts especially the Doors, Tina Turner and many of the other greats. She loved the outdoors kayaking, jet skiing, and her many pets she cherished throughout the years. Vesta dearly loved her family and will be much missed by her husband Robert C. Tidd of North Hampton, NH ( Mother Elisabeth Spinney of Eliot, Me. daughters Jillanna Lansperge of Rochester, NH. Velvett Samson of Somersworth, NH. sons Jon Asmund of Newmarket, NH and Andrew Samson of North Carolina, six grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren ). A memorial service will be celebrated on Monday February 9, 2015 at 11am in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904. Care for the Tidd family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey Funeral Home.
