Obituary

Portsmouth- Virginia (Lee) Philbrick Littlefield, 82 of Portsmouth died peacefully on Sunday August 13, 2023 at the Edgewood Center.

She was born in Kittery on March 25, 1941 a daughter of Lee M. and Catherine (Renner) Philbrick. She attended local schools graduating from RW. Traip Academy.

She worked for many years as an auditor for the Stage Neck Inn and at Eldredge Lumber as well as in Real Estate and waiting tables when she was young.

Ginny was a wonderful cook who enjoyed having family and friends close by to enjoy her cooking and large family gatherings. She loved gardening, traveling, antique collecting and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Catherine and Randy Richardson of Nottingham, NH, Jeffery and Cheryl Geddis of Lee, NH, Ricky and Mika Willis of Cape Neddick, Maine , Leigh Ann Bauer and Michael Bauer of Wells, ME, Grandchildren: Andy, Nicholas, Jon, Travis, Jessie, Spencer, Adam, Becca, , Everette, Tyyo, Hayden and Tysuke; Great-grandchildren: Destiny, Christian, Lexie, LJ, Alyssa, Nolan and Sawyer, Sisters: Irene Jeanette Squire, Jean Elizabeth Milbert, Brother: Lee Morrison Philbrick. And many nephews, nieces and extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Littlefield of Ogunquit, Maine and brothers: Albert(Bill)Homer Philbrick, Walter Peterson Philbrick and Edward Everett Philbrick

Friends are invited to join her family on Thursday August 24 @10am in Orchard Grove Cemetery in Kittery for graveside services. A funeral and time of refreshment will be celebrated on Thursday August 24, 2023 at 11:30 in the Lee Congregational Church 17 Mast Road Lee, NH 03861. A celebration of her life will also be held on Saturday August 26th @ noon, 30 Mast Road Lee, NH 03861.

The family wishes to express its gratitude and deep, heartfelt thanks for the care she received at The Edgewood Center and by the wonderful care of Beacon Hospice.
