Eliot- Warren P. Day, 83 of Staples Street died on January 8, 2015 at Sentry Hill in York. Born on July 23, 1921 he was a son of Fred W. and Ernestine ( Bracy ) Day. He was raised in York, attending local schools, graduating from York High School. Warren proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War Two in Germany. He married his loving wife of sixty seven years Roberta ( Moore ) Day and together they made their home in Eliot. Warren retired after over thirty years of service at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in shop 71, retiring in 1986. Warren and Roberta enjoyed camping, travelling across the country to Washinton State, Canada and many local trips. Warren is survived by his wife Roberta of Eliot, a brother Richard and his wife Vickie Day of Dover, NH and many neices and nephews. A funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 10:30 am in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904.
