Portsmouth – Warren C. Mickle, Jr., 60, of Portsmouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 25, 1957 in Alston, Massachusetts, to Warren C. Sr. and Barbara (Blum) Mickle.

After graduating from High School, Warren enlisted in the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Mickle Painting.  Warren was an avid volunteer in the Portsmouth community with the youth sports programs, including couching Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball.

He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen "Katie", in 2000, a son, Jonathan in 2012, and by two sisters, Sandra King and Eunice Mickle.

Survivors include three children, Robert Mickle of Burlington, VT, Matthew Mickle and his wife, Kristy of Kittery and Whitney Foley and her husband, Michael; three grandchildren, Zoe Mickle, Marlee Mickle and Brandon Johnson; nieces and nephews.

Services: A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth. Friends invited. There will be no visiting hours.
