York- Wayne S. Price, 71 formerly a long time resident of York Maine, died on January 17, 2016 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born in Connecticut a son of the late Troy S. Price and Nathalie R. Frizzell, Wayne was raised in Portsmouth, graduating from Portsmouth High School in 1962. He entered the the United States Army serving his country as a Military Police Officer specializing in Police K-9 handling for a number of years, serving abroad in Germany, France and the United States.

Following service to his country he settled in York Maine, where he continued his police career working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Police Department. Wayne was a talented computer technologist working on the retail repair side for a time before beginning his employment with CACI in Kittery serving the Defense Department on the computer help desk.

Most recently Wayne had made his home at Margeson Appartments in Portsmouth where he had made many friends and neighbors. Wayne is survived by his children Traci Jaye Tuttle, Wayne Price, and Amber Napier, Ryan Price and their mother Vickie Price, his sister Marsha Price and brother Edmund Price.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 11am in the Seacoast Community Church at 397 Lafayette Road Portsmouth NH 03801 .
